HOST TO PGA & USGA EVENTS
On July 1, 2013 South Hills hosted the 2013 US Girls Junior National Qualifier. The finals will be played in Fort Wayne, Indiana at the Sycamore Hills Golf Club. South Hills hosted the largest qualifier in the country for this event. South Hills has also been host to the US Amateur Qualifying, US Senior Amateur Qualifying, US Senior Open qualifying, and multiple events for the Southern California PGA.
For the last 5 years the PGA of America has been committed to helping families who have suffered losses due to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. With help from the USGA and American golfers everywhere, they have raised nearly $17 million for The Folds of Honor Foundation. The Foundation provides educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving in our armed forces. We at South Hills have been proud supporters of the Folds of Honor Foundation.
CHARITY & CORPORATE EVENTS
South Hills welcomes golfers participating in charity and corporate events from many organizations. Among the charities that have hosted events are Casa Colina, Assistance League of Covina Valley, and Citrus Valley Medical Foundation. The club will also hold events for Morrow Meadows and Mercedes Benz this year.
